hello! i apologize for the brief downtime immediately following this game's launch; a game-breaking crash was occurring that i was unable to replicate within Unity (making troubleshooting extraordinarily difficult).

mostly by good luck, i figured out that the exit button was somehow getting toggled even though its canvas was disabled. i'm still not sure why (or even how) this was happening, but i was able to implement a workaround, meaning the game now works! i'm almost certain all crashes and issues have now been fixed.

if you downloaded this game within the first 30 minutes of it being published on itch.io (in other words, any time before this devlog was posted), you should delete your file and replace it with the new one i just published! if you have any further troubles with the game, dm me or post in the comment section below.
