Introduction
Cliffhanger is a competitive board game about climbing a mountain. Your goal is to be the last player remaining on the mountain. When you roll the die, you can move any player; it's up to you to decide if you want to try to push your opponents off the mountain or climb higher up it yourself. But be careful! Certain board spaces have various effects that might help or hinder players who land on them.

My Development Role
I came up with the initial concept for a circular game board (though it's changed and grown a lot due to all my teammates' ideation), designed one type of space, wrote and edited the instructions sheet, and helped lead playtesting sessions. The rest of the work was executed by my co-developers.

About the Developers
I made Cliffhanger with three other developers back in 2019 and decided to publish it for my portfolio in October of 2020. Since I'm not currently in contact with any of my co-developers, I won't be accepting any donations or generating revenue of any kind from this game, and all rights remain reserved for the development team as a whole (NOT just me!).  In other words, anyone is welcome to download and play for free, just don't use the assets and intellectual property of the game for your own projects or to generate revenue.

If you are on of my co-developers and you'd like admin perms for this game, a link to your portfolio added, or your name removed from the project, feel free to reach out via the official MAGD @ UWW Discord server or via university email. If you no longer have either of these means available to you, send me a direct message here on itch.io and I'll verify your identity using alternate methods.
