Introduction
Cliffhanger is a competitive board game about climbing a mountain. Your goal is to be the last player remaining on the mountain. When you roll the die, you can move any player; it's up to you to decide if you want to try to push your opponents off the mountain or climb higher up it yourself. But be careful! Certain board spaces have various effects that might help or hinder players who land on them.
My Development Role
I came up with the initial concept for a circular game board (though it's changed and grown a lot due to all my teammates' ideation), designed one type of space, wrote and edited the instructions sheet, and helped lead playtesting sessions. The rest of the work was executed by my co-developers.
About the Developers
I made Cliffhanger with three other developers back in 2019 and published it here in October of 2020 so I could include it in my online portfolio. I'm not interested in profiting off of my co-developers' work, so I won't accept donations for this game or use it to generate revenue in any way.
As such, anyone is welcome to download and play for free, but you may not monetize the assets or intellectual property of this game in any way. All rights remain reserved for the development team as a whole (not just me!).
If you're one of my co-developers and you'd like admin perms for this game, a link to your personal portfolio added here, or your name removed from the project, please reach out to me via email or DM.
